Corrie Nielsen was my first show to kick start London Fashion Week into action yesterday. With a strong traditional Japanese influence the models walked slowly down the catwalk to heavy string music accompanied with bird song. The silhouettes were so magnificent; my favourite being the coats with bustles on the back, wraps around the waist and a low neckline. I wasn't so sure about some of the fabric choices, I've never been a fan of silk taffeta but I wished the beautiful blouses were made out of something else, it did look incredibly rich though. Over all it was incredible, maybe I'll try and pull off that hair style soon.
