WORTH HAUTE COUTURE A/W 10/11

The House of Worth was the leading house of couture in the 1800's.
This season they have presented a stunning collection of period type pieces, I'm not quite sure how or when they would be worn in the present day but they showcase a magnificent amount of work. The detail is stunning, the final outfit is my favourite, if you click on the larger picture you can see the detailing of the wool and wire.

ELIE SAAB HAUTE COUTURE A/W 10/11

Elie Saab has proven again that he can design the ultimate dress for every woman.
My favourite couture collection so far, without a doubt.

CHANEL HAUTE COUTURE A/W 10/11

A very different collection from Karl Lagerfeld this season, but a beautiful one none the less. The collection seemed very royal, not just because of the huge lion taking centre stage on the room, but the colour palettes of blues, white and reds, the models circled the room liked jeweled princesses.
I also really appreciated the classic coats in this collection, so stunning, like 1940's couture revisited.

GIVENCHY HAUTE COUTURE A/W 10/11

Riccardo Tisci does it again, presenting 10 looks for Givenchy Haute Couture A/W 10/11.
I read that one dress took 1,600 hours to embroider! My guess is on my favourite, look 9.
