WINGS OF PLENTY

More accessories to swoon over on the Modo Parcours/fashion trail; Niyona's insanely beautiful bags are all hand crafted in Belgium, it takes a minimum of two days to create any bag and you can even get them custom made. It was so nice to see so many beautifully shaped bags, in gorgeous colours, where the design had really been thought about and respected the wearers needs. I particularly like the bags that unzip at the bottom to fit in an extra pair of shoes (genius), and I also had no idea that zips could come in rainbow colours, LOVE.

CAFE LUC

I couple of weeks ago I was invited to Cafe Luc, a stylish brasserie on Marylebone High Street serving exciting Belgian and French cuisine. We arrived for cocktails (some of them will blow your head off) and met the owners Julie and Laurent. It was amazing to see how much the restaurant reflected their characters, you instantly feel at home as if you were surrounded by your own family.
The decor was another beauty to marvel at, Julie designed every last piece of Cafe Luc, the most impressive being the glass jars that surround the bar, each hand blown by an artist in Battersea.
We all settled down at the table to begin our cuisine adventure. For starters I had their world famous Steak Tartare, the first time I've ever tried it and now I think i'm addicted! For mains I had the lamb - beautifully presented and melt in the mouth, and for pudding I had the most amazing salted caramel, vanilla and speculoos ice cream, followed by tea. Major food baby to follow all this.
It was wonderful to meet Marco, Will and Isabelle as well as seeing some familiar faces OsmanAlexEmily, Wayne and Alexxsia.
It was such a perfect evening, a huge thankyou to Julie and Laurent for having us and to Alix and Kat for organising the event.
