LFW HIGHLIGHTS

Looking back at LFW this season it wasn't about the shows, the collections or getting street style snapped outside somerset house; but about catching up with friends, going out to party and eating A LOT of food!

The further I get into my design career the more I realise that some things have to be left behind and fashion week is going to be one of them, obviously I'm going to be involved in it myself, showing a collection takes so much out of you that I realised after this season that I didn't have the energy to run to shows, take street style snaps or even have a good time. So I opted for my bed, only venturing out to try new restaurants or fun parties and most importantly seeing close friends for a catch up and a gossip.

LOUISE GRAY SS12

Again, another more grown up collection from Louise Gray but I LOVE IT. I think it's a lot more wearable than previous seasons, she has still managed to keep all the excitement and just refined her ideas. With it being her third season sponsored by COTTON USA, she is really starting to pave her own way in the industry as a high end ethical brand. The whole show was so much fun, I loved the colours and the textures, even the embellishment. I'm very happy for Louise, it being her first major show. Girl's gunna go far.

LFW DAY 3

Mulberry masks and Una Burke for Unconditional. Day three was more relaxed with a late start to the day and then rain in the afternoon, not too many good pictures to capture.

MARIA GRACHVOGEL SS12

Held in the ballroom of the Savoy hotel, Maria Grachvogel presented her Spring/Summer 2012 show yesterday. The fabrics were so luxurious, every garment was meant to move. The catwalk was a large square so there was a constant pounding of models and fabric following behind them. I loved all the white looks and the snakeskin trouser suit was pretty amazing. The shoes were a collaboration with Atalanta Weller, so chic! It's all about those snakeskin booties.
