ACNE S/S 2011

Shearling aside, I have to say that ACNE usually get me with the shoes, the clothes slip my mind and I'm fixated on the shoe that I'll be obsessing about all next season. For S/S 11 it was the collection itself that captivated me, the looks are relaxed and simple, everything looks so soft and snug. The maxi skirt with oversized jumper is really taking it's covetable form here, layering and colour coding is right on and the high waisted pants and leather jackets are serioiusly cool. I was a little shocked when I saw the detail pictures; I think the shoes are seriously ugly.

What are your thoughts? Has ACNE done it all right again or are the wood block wedges and teeny tiny sunglasses a little bit too wacko for your liking?

Aside from the fact that Alexxsia is a close friend of mine, I think her styling is unique and offers something different from the rest. I like the fact that she can't afford Gareth Pugh, the styling is all about imagination.
