COLOUR BLOCKING

Wearing: Limi Feu jacket, Charlie May dress, Jil Sander trousers, Atalanta Weller shoes, Versace sunnies
Sorry to everyone who was hoping for a colourful look, the title was just for fun! Outfit worn on day 4 (I think) of London Fashion Week. I realised there were actually six days at LFW not five... confused. Anyway thank you to Refinery29 for the full body shot and to Jennine for the close up.

RUST

Wearing: Ann Demeulemeester jacket and shoes, Rusted shirt made by me for my graduate collection, A.F. Vandevorst skirt, Versace sunglasses
Wearing another piece from my graduate collection, this shirt was hand rusted by me and contrasts really nicely against the crisp white shirt. I'd like to try it out again in a future collection with a subtler staining I think.
The skirt was another Antwerp purchase (found on a 10€ bargain rail!) and is the perfect colour for summer - goodbye black.
Thank you to Andrew, AKA The Fashion Dad for these photos.

Last Day Of Milan Fashion Week

I loved loved LOVED the Versace Spring/Summer 2009 collection, it was fresh and glamorous, my favourite from Donatella so far I think, she's done Gianni proud.

Beautiful prints flowing from dresses, sculptural hearts popping out everywhere and those kick ass metallics, oooh! All the models looked so fresh faced and beautiful too, such classic looks.

I like the unusual choice of colour for these dresses
Is it just me or are hearts appearing everywhere recently?

Also from Milan, Dolce and Gabbana, pyjama party!

I actually quite liked this collection, I loved the choice of silk even though the dresses were quite sculptural, it made everything look so soft and wearable, even if you are just lounging around in bed?

My top picks this season

This season I have been transformed, I am talking about the trouser. Usually you can't tear me away from my skirts and tights, but now I am desperately craving a pair of beautifully cut, super sexy trousers. Everything is looking so comfortable and sexy, I am actually excited for it to be winter. I'm tired of the downpours and then a few splinters of sunshine! I want crisp cold winter, then again, in England it rains all the time.

The dresses are also beautiful this season, my favourites being the bold coloured satins and the black moody but sophisticateds. I am crazy about Zac Posens styling; matching brightly coloured tights with such a dark dress. I will definately have to try it.

This is my favourite outfit so far, I adore the white chiffon dress with the black garter belt showing through, and that coat looks like something I could hibernate in all winter! YumYumYum!
