I discovered Kyle Hopkins through a meeting one day with Harriet from HPR, as we were chatting I started noticing the gold and silver pieces beside me, slowly trying them on Harriet started explaining to me all the stories behind each piece; lips cast from his first kiss, his sisters ear, fingerprint rings (you can have these done with your own print); it was clear that there's meaning behind Kyle's work. 'He casts imagination and enquiry, starting a story for someone else to finish. So when the jewel reaches its new owner, she just takes over the narative'. I think the silver pieces are my favourite, especially the signat rings shown here, and the fingerprint rings which for some reason aren't here! Currently, you can buy Kyle's pieces on Kabiri.

GOLD COLLAR
Wearing: Gold collar, M&S sleeveless shirt, A.F. Vandevorst skirt, Acne shoes
Yesterday Lex came home with an amazing surprise for me - this gold collar! The designer is unknown, which is a shame, but it's perfect and just what I've been looking for. My heart has been set since seeing this gold collar by Stella Mccartney on vanilla scented. THE perfect accessory right now. If anyone recognises this collar please let me know, it has no markings or anything so I have no idea who it's by.

BUBBLE KNUCKLE

"The creation of these beautiful porcelain forms juxtaposed with metal is only made possible by an uglier, less attractive material being formed, filled and kilned."

"Geometric shapes, clusters of nuggets, glinting green emeralds and luxuriant crimson rubies that sit deep in the natural crevices of gold, silver and bronze, are reminiscent of the precarious boulders that cling and jut out of the coastal landscape."

"Star clusters, bubbling gases, spiralling milky ways, and angular meteorites, are all at the core of Imogen’s collection, ‘Equilibrium’ . The incredible colours and shapes seen in the solar system have inspired and evolved Imogen’s designs, developing her techniques of fusing bronze, gold and silver with porcelain into dramatic molten-like formations."

"Architectural ‘ is inspired by the city, transforming skyscrapers into miniature porcelain forms that nestle within the protective grip of silver, gold and bronze."
Imogen Belfield JewelleryWhen I stumbled upon Imogen Belfield's jewellery over at fashion156, I was overcome with greed. Belfield's jewellery collections are so rich and mourish, you want it all.
She has four collections, The Unshores, Equilibrium, Achitectural, and diffusions, Each one more beautiful than the next.
The rings are somewhat affordable too ranging from £100 - £500, depending on the metals.

Bittersweets NY

"The idea behind Bittersweets NY is making something exquisite out of the everyday objects and designs that are taken for granted. Why reinvent the wheel? The Maggot and Earthworm series stay within the ideology of borrowing a design from another tried and true source...nature."
I have fallen in love with every single one of these pieces, the delicate rings are just perfection! I have a friend who's killing herself over those vamp rings too.
I can see Bittersweets is just going to be huge, I love her work.
I think I now know what I want for christmas.
