PROENZA SCHOULER SS 2011

Proenza Schouler SS 2011 New York
A much more relaxed feel from Proenza Schouler this season.
The shapes are a lot looser and the whole feel is generally more comfortable.
Beautiful nude tones contrasted with acid greens in sheers and knits.

RODARTE S/S 2011

Rodarte S/S 2011 New York
Absolutely love Rodarte this year. The quirky wood prints, heavy textural gold knits and patterned leathers are unlike anything I have seen before all in one collection.
I'm looking forward to seeing it styled up in an editorial!

RAD BY RAD HOURANI S/S 2011

Rad by Rad Hourani S/S 2011 New York
A beautiful collection with stark contrasts in colour and texture.
I adore that last photo, what a great moment captured!
Again, you can watch the late stream on Rad's website.

ALEXANDER WANG S/S 2011

Alexander Wang S/S 2011
New York Fashion Week

I missed the live show stream yesterday afternoon but was happy to find it was still available to view online this morning. If you haven't watched the video, DO SO NOW. It looks more incredible when you can see the way the fabric moves.
I honestly fell in love with it straight away. There have been some very mixed reviews but I think this collection is Wang's best yet. The minimalism, sharp tailoring (the shapes in those lapels!) contrasting with the drape, the styling - those nose rings, paint in the hair and shoes that I can see everyone wearing, oh and the straps across the backs! Alexander Wang is fast turning into the Helmut Lang of this decade.
Every woman is going to want to own a piece of this collection and make it her own, Wang is one of the very few designers who can have this said about him.

RICHARD CHAI S/S 2011

Richard Chai S/S 2011 New York

This collection has captured the minimalist beautiful of the 90's.
The hair and make up was even inspired by Helmut Newton.
