I discovered Kyle Hopkins through a meeting one day with Harriet from HPR, as we were chatting I started noticing the gold and silver pieces beside me, slowly trying them on Harriet started explaining to me all the stories behind each piece; lips cast from his first kiss, his sisters ear, fingerprint rings (you can have these done with your own print); it was clear that there's meaning behind Kyle's work. 'He casts imagination and enquiry, starting a story for someone else to finish. So when the jewel reaches its new owner, she just takes over the narative'. I think the silver pieces are my favourite, especially the signat rings shown here, and the fingerprint rings which for some reason aren't here! Currently, you can buy Kyle's pieces on Kabiri.

J JS LEE

What a pleasure to go into the Topshop sheds over LFW and see one of my favourite CSM MA graduates, Jackie JS Lee.

The muted pastel pieces are even more beautiful in person, and you feel the serene awe that you feel when you flick through her lookbooks. She has a remarkable vision; every piece in the collection compliments every other piece.

Her new label J. JS LEE aims to provide a product for women wanting to look sharp, without loosing their feminity.

Nicomede Talavera

I came across Talavera recently on fashion156 and was instantly attracted to his neon foil tshirt in their recent editorial. Very Proenza Schouler/Katie Eary with that bold colour that we're all so into at the moment.

He is a Central Saint Martins BA student, currently on his placement year in New York. Doing my research, he has already appeared on The Fashionisto, Dazed Digital and countless blogs, and he's only in his 2nd year!

This collection above was inspired by fusing elements of the neanderthal and the gentleman. This definately comes across in the incredible range of materials and textures that attract me to this collection, as well as the cut and killer accessories.

There is definate raw talent here, I can't wait to see what influences he brings back from his internships.

My personal highlights from this years CSM BA students.

The last outfit, by Ching Man Wu, captured my heart the most I think. The feminine off pink matched with the squishy cushioned fabric looked surprisingly modern and totally wearable.

Another was Onez Lau. His styling was OFF THE HOOK!
