Last week I met up with talented photographer Russ McClintock to be snapped as part of his blogger series. I love Russ' beautiful clean aesthetic and was honoured to be a part of his work. This image was shot in front of my favourite brick wall in London. Check out more on his blog here.

I'm also excited to finally be debuting this IDOU top that I posted about in May. You can wear it so many different ways, it's fun putting on something that changes every time. 

IDOU

Japanese for 'to change', IDOU is transformable minimalism. The looks are simple draped forms made in beautiful fabric, you are able to style the looks yourself (think complex geometries) and layer up the pieces. I love the final look here most of all, and the pictures might just be the most beautiful lookbook I've ever seen. So raw and natural. 

The garments are very modestly priced with pieces costing between £50 - £250, I've already put my order in for a couple of the pieces.

Just found these insane rings from Japan. So cute but be careful not to poke someone's eye out!

Antique Clockwork

In my confusion of actually getting the weekend off (what a shock!), I spent the day being truly lazy and just staying in bed and browsing online. My current obsession at the moment is really strange vintage jewelery and that's when I came across Londons Gate on etsy. Their items are made from old watch parts so each item is truly unique. By my surprise the items are really fairly priced too!
Hmmmm, now I just have to decide which one I would like to buy...

I must confess....

I broke my 'NO SHOPPING' rule on a major scale today. I couldn't help myself, especially when I thought that this item would actually be perfect to take to Paris.
The garment in question is this beautiful handmade shag coat from Deep in Vogue on Etsy.
I also bought the faux fur shawl to match, as the items look so good together. I can't wait to wrap up, I'm so excited!
At least i'm leaving myself enough time to make up my money again... Erk!
