INDIVIDUAL STYLE UNITED SPIRIT COMPETITION

Wearing: Dior sunglasses, Aquascutum shirt, Charlie May skirts, Dr Martens leather tote and shoes
I've teamed up with one of my favourite brands Dr Martens to run a style competition celebrating INDIVIDUAL STYLE UNITED SPIRIT. I'm representing the heels range, which actually I've never gone for before now, but I'm loving these slip on loafers! The slimline leather tote has been used every day since I got it too, it's perfect for fitting in an extra jacket, notebooks and even ferrying half made garments to and from the studios!
To enter the competition all you have to do is post a photograph of yourself in your 'Dr Marten's style' to twitter or instagram, making sure you @charliemay and @drmartens #FIRSTANDFOREVER. I will be choosing the winner, so feel free to butter me up all you like.
The winner will receive £500 to spend on DrMartens.com and an all expenses paid trip to the original factory with me on 8th October!
I'm really looking forward to seeing your outfits; I'll be picking the winner on September 10th, good luck everyone!

How much of a serious girl crush does everyone have on Alice Dellal? Such a perfect face for Dr Marten!

PEELING

Wearing: Charlie May tie side shirt (now available on Bengt), Unknown gold collar, Vivienne Westwood trousers, Dr Marten shoes, Miu Miu sunglasses
The weather was finally nice enough the other day for me to start wearing some of my SS12 collection, which as you can now see from my tidied side bar, is now available to buy online. Jen's been in town for the last few days and I've been enjoying relaxing in London; going to newly discovered coffee shops, eating cupcakes for breakfast and generally doing things that I don't usually get to enjoy!

PEAS IN A POD

Leather, sunglasses and killer heels ahoy! I'm not sure why my mouth is gaping wide open but that's what Alexxsia does to me.

FIRST AND FOREVER

On Friday Dr Martens invited me down to the Aubin cinema to preview the new collection and savour some of the delights the venue had to offer. Looking back through these pictures it's easy to see why I left a little lightheaded. Lychee martinis and expresso cocktails that blew your head off in one gulp, as well as being surrounded by so many beautiful shoes and satchels. After a drink we were led into the cinema to view to campaign video starring Agyness Deyn and Ash Stymest, a perfect couple for the brand. They embody classic British punk style and the debut of Dr Martens new AW 11 'First and Forever' campaign highlights the last 50 years from scooter boys to skin heads.
The range will be available to buy from the 1st September.
You can also share your First and Forever with Dr Martens and be in with a chance of winning a pair from the new collection.

ZORPAS

Some snaps of the very stylish Matthew Zorpas.
Totally obsessed with his yellow sole DMs, he is quite literally the best dressed man in Britain.

STANDING TALL

Jen from The Style Crusader wearing my modified Dr Martens on the third day of London Fashion Week.
Doesn't she look incredible? Nothing makes me happier than this right now.

If you are interested in these shoes, be it for editorials or getting your own modified pair, just drop me an email.

GIRLS NIGHT

Amy trying on pieces from our collections on our girls night in.
The feather headpiece is Alexxsia's while the platform Dr Martens were designed and altered by me!
Fiona was cooking gourmet stuffed mushrooms whilst this was going on so I didn't get any pictures of her, however, I do have this adorable photo after she had her hair done yesterday at the Schuh press day!
We also watched classic 90's film The Virgin Suicides, which I had first partly watched at the Yes Brian, You Look Terrific Vintage Pop Up Shop, decided I definately needed to invest some serious time to it.
