PASTELS AND GOLD

Wearing: Ann Demeulemeester jacket and top, Acne shorts, Alexander Wang shoes, Rayban sunglasses, Backstage cuffs and Dominic Jones rings
The thing I love most about dressing for the summer is wearing all pastels and nudes. I bought these Alexander Wang shoes back in winter when they were in the sale, knowing that when summer came around they would be living on me. I've been shopping around for some great pastel shorts but haven't found any yet, for now I quite like the pop of colour underneath all my layers. These photos were taken whilst Jen was in London a couple of weeks back, now I'm super excited as I've just booked to visit her in Zurich in ten days! There's nothing I love more than exploring a new city.

SPRING INSPIRATION

Some images I'm finding inspiring for SS13, being frantically pinned on my Pinterest boards. I'm getting excited about starting the new season and have plenty of exciting design ideas coming to mind, with HPR meetings and possible designer collaborations on the headlines; it's all just a few months away, but for now let's just look at these relaxing images and think fluffy thoughts. Hope you all had a great weekend!

DREAMY MONDAY WITH DOLCI FOLLIE

What could be more perfect on a Monday morning than lacy pastel loveliness? I give you Dolci Follie, a luxury lingerie heaven tucked away in Notting Hill. It's only been open a few months and is already attracting attention for it's exclusive luxury brands, interiors - inspired by an opulent Venetian Palazzo, and quality of service (a glass of Prosecco in the changing suite? Thank you kindly!)
Needless to say the boutique is rising fast and I can see why when I met the Simona, the owner of Dolci Follie; she told me that there is real TLC lacking from todays luxury lingerie experience, she treats each customer as an individual and builds up respect over time, which is why her loyal customers keep on coming back.
This boutique really is a girls dream, whether you're looking for dreamy intimates or swimwear for a holiday, Simone has it all! I totally fell head over heels for the silk pyjamas by Olivia von Halle, I've decided they are the only things suitable to lounge around the house in. Also, if any of you or your friends are getting married you simply have to visit, whether it's a special gift or a full set, the range is SO BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you to Olivia from Bryan Morel for spending the afternoon with me, I'm sure I'll be back before you know it!
You can find Dolci Follie on 28a Hereford Road, W2.

A MUGLER MAN

Mugler S/S 12 - 'Brothers of Arcadia'
Inspired by Greek gods with a mixture of school uniforms and the 80's club scene, it would seem. Nicola Formichetti was inspired by fantasy, dreams and voyeurism; with the accessibility of pornography and uploading films onto Xtube, this was a chance to cut out the middle man and make an erotic fashion film to accompany an erotic S/S 12 collection.
I love the cut as always (obsessed with those half jackets) and the unusual pastel green and lilac colour palette. I didn't think i'd see a season where Mugler would out-colour Jil Sander, I'm excited for the change though.

A TOUCH OF NEON

Wearing: Ann Demeulemeester blazer, vintage shirt, Haider Ackermann trousers, American Apparel clutch, Helmut Lang cuff, Dominic Jones and Vivienne Westoowd rings, Dior nail varnish in 'Aloha'
I was pretty devastated the other week when I realised my new pastel wardrobe was being ruined by my black leather bag rubbing and staining everything; after having it for so long I didn't think the dye would still rub off. I picked up this American Apparel clutch as a replacement. I love it, it can even fit my chunky DSLR inside, which is primarily what I look for in a bag. My nailvarnish was done at the Littlewoods press day, probably the brightest my nails have ever been and probably the only neon you'll catch me wearing.

STREETSTYLE HEARTTHROBS

These are my two favourite street style pictures at the moment.
They are remarkably similar which just shows my lusting over blouses and shorts and pastel colour palettes!
They have been sat on my desktop for so long i've forgotten where I got them from, i'm pretty sure they are by The Sartorialist.
