PASTELS AND GOLD

The thing I love most about dressing for the summer is wearing all pastels and nudes. I bought these Alexander Wang shoes back in winter when they were in the sale, knowing that when summer came around they would be living on me. I've been shopping around for some great pastel shorts but haven't found any yet, for now I quite like the pop of colour underneath all my layers. These photos were taken whilst Jen was in London a couple of weeks back, now I'm super excited as I've just booked to visit her in Zurich in ten days! There's nothing I love more than exploring a new city.

RITZING IN PARIS

Last week I was lucky enough to accompany Farfetch to Paris, despite the crappy weather we had so much fun and managed to fit a lot into the one day we were there. This outfit was taken outside the Ritz where we had afternoon tea; apparently they are closing over the next few weeks for renovation and won't be open for another 3 years, glad we managed to go in time! Wearing some new items bought from the stock sales in Antwerp this week, totally besotted with these new boots, they're so beautiful! Also picked up this beautiful white chiffon top, it has some amazing back detailing that i'll have to capture another time; and lastly this wrap skirt that caused me a bit of trouble in the wind and also got me a few stares when we accidentally stumbled upon the red light district, looking for a club, woops!

ROCKSTAR

Wearing: Silence + Noise jacket, Dominic jones ring

There's nothing like a furry jacket to bring in the Christmas month, I've never really been a big fur/fluff wearer but I can just about handle this. Jen and I were having so much fun shooting this look for MyDaily early in the morning; shocked commuters saw me staggering out the front door in silver trousers and fur jacket, channeling my inner axle rose.

DOMINIC JONES SS12

Totally insanely in love with the new collection of Dominic Jones SS12, the rings pictured first especially! I'm glad they had the lookbook images handy as I don't think I'd have quite understood how to wear them otherwise. I also love that the colour black (irodium) has been introduced into the mix, with every piece being available in the four metals. In the next door room the film to accompany the collection played on loop, featuring Catherine Pockson, singer of The Alpines, who also played a set later on in the evening. I love that last shot of Dominic chatting to Maria Francesca Pepe, another jewellery designer to look out for.

Some of my favourite items of jewellery lately. Anything that's minimal and gold is perfect for me right now. I had a bit of a bust up trying to go to a Dominic Jones sample sale last week, an incorrect map and phone being low on battery led me to the dodgy ends of East London for an hour before I gave up and came home again. Hopefully I'll get my hands on some more soon, but for now this is more than what I need.

DOMINIC JONES AW11

Certainly a new direction from Dominic Jones, I'm intrigued to see what the entire collection looks like. These photos were snapped at the Liberty press day and I didn't get a chance to ask how much of the collection they had actually bought. The giant earrings and necklace are my fave whilst the small drop earrings hardly look Dominic at all.

Trying awfully hard not to squint in a lot of these pictures. The sun was so bright and beautiful in Paris; hanging around outside the Palais de Tokyo, overlooking the Eiffel Tower whilst children skateboarded around us. Enjoying the final day.
