So excited to show you guys the short fashion film we shot a couple of weeks ago. This was the weekend when it snowed and was freezing cold in London, we shot in a chapel that had been bombed in WW2 and was freezing so kudos to the amazing Layla! What a trooper. 

I didn't plan the film to be as scary as it is but when we got on set it just felt right and we felt the stronger the better. We drew inspiration from this Miu Miu film, in the way they had edited the model walking backwards and never showed the girls face. I have to dash to catch the rest of fashion week now, but I hope you love it!

REVISITING THE ABANDONED HOSPITAL

 You may remember my trip to the abandoned hospital 6 months ago, probably my favourite blog post to date. I was lucky enough to sneak in again - model, photographer and collection in tow, to shoot my S/S12 lookbook. It feels strange unearthing this, like a magician revealing their trick. I find behind the scenes so exciting but when it's behind my scenes it feels odd indeed. The pictures above were taken on my phone when we did the reccy around the hospital and then leading up to the shoot. Rain was running down the walls inside the room when we started shooting, as you can see throughout the lookbook, the wall gets dryer and dryer (love those details). I think it was the perfect setting for the lookbook, not just because it's one of my favourite places in London but also because some of the clothes have a medical feel about them, for example the white shirt with buckle and tie sides. It was a lot of fun shooting, I hope you all like the pictures!
