The full and final post from Antwerp, where we attended the stock sales, celebrated Michael's birthday and generally ate and drank the local delicacies. Favourite eatery was Renaissance - used to be the Yohji boutique but is now a store and restaurant combined; favourite bar has to be the Het Kathedraal Café, situated just down from the Cathedral and FILLED with religious statues; as well as serving a large variety of beer made by monks and twice the usual percentage; finally, favourite boutique was the RA, which luckily were having a 70% off sale when we were there and stocks favourites Simone Rocha, Damir Doma and Ann Sofie-Back.
Tomorrow I'm off to Paris to party with Farfetch at the other RA, with S.C.U.M and Singtank! Follow me (girlalamode) on Instagram for updates throughout the day.
It's amazing to think that in the same time it takes me to travel to my hometown in south west, England, I could also be out the channel tunnel and half way across Europe; via the Eurostar, not only do you not have to go through all the rigmarole of weight limit baggage issues, but its also greener and faster than flying. On Tuesday Alexxsia, Matthew, Michael and I boarded the first Eurostar to Brussels filled with excitement, with the all stations ticket you can connect from Brussels to over 200 other destinations - and we were headed straight to Antwerp, my favourite city! We had a pretty extravagant journey, celebrating Michael's birthday with champagne and stocking up on ham and cheese croissants, whilst Lexxi snapped away on her iPad. I love that last shot of Lexxi and Michael struggling with all their excess purchases, haha, I can't wait to share the rest of my holiday with you!

Wearing: Haider Ackermann waistcoat/jacket, Ann Demeulemeester blazer, vintage velvet jacket underneath, Jil Sander trousers, Dr Marten petrol shoes I didn't dress at all appropriately when I went to Antwerp last week, every time I've been before it's been sunny and warm, strangely. It was rainy and windy and horrible! No wonder I came back with two new coats. This Haider beaut was picked up at the stock sales, perfect for my layering obsession and doubles up as a blanket for the ferry home. I am literally wearing three jackets in this picture and I was still freezing. Lesson learned. I'm off to Belgium again today to check out over 70 designers at the Modo Parcours. I will be taking my laptop to the hotel so you should see some more posts from me tonight, in the meantime follow me on twitter.
