LEATHER FOLDS

Wearing: Stylein jumper, Rachael Barett shorts, Henrik Vibskov shoes

One of my purchases from today, these beautiful and strange Henrik Vibskov shoes. I was lusting after them for a while online and was so excited to find them at the 70% off RA sale, here in Antwerp! I wish I had an endless supply of money, as everything is too good here. Heading out now to celebrate Michael's birthday, all wearing our new pieces, I don't think Antwerp knows what it's in for.

Thanks Lexxi for the snaps!

UNUSUAL

A really cute unusual shoe by Henrik Vibskov spotted on the re-designed Farfetch website. I'm not sure whether the site has only had a make over but it seems like they have a much better choice of designers and pieces, much more Belgium fashion and generally more focus on statement pieces.
These shoes are so unique, I feel like I've found them in a history book. Very Victorian looking! It's a shame they're not in my size, although probably for the best right now as I need to put all my money into my work. I hope you're all enjoying the sales!

MENSWEAR ROUND UP - AW11

Raf Simons
Mugler
(PS I may love Zombie Boy)
Damir Doma
Alexander McQueen
Ann Demeulemeester
Henrik Vibskov
Jil Sander
Givenchy
Lanvin
Trends: Pops of colour, mainly in yellow and red; Wide legged trousers; shiny patent fabrics; and structured tailoring, especially in large statement coats.
The menswear this season has been exceptional so far, the trends emerging are really fresh and pushing the boundaries enough to excite, I've already heard men asking how they are going to work a pair of wide legged trousers into their wardrobe.
