ROSE RAIN

Wearing: Muriee knit, Complex Geometries skirt, Ann Demeulemeester boots, spiked ring and bracelet by Maria Francesca Pepe
Another rainy summer Sunday spent hiding in coffee shop, with much needed caffeine in hand, wearing my new favourite rose gold accessories and triple lace boots. I don't mind the moody weather so much if it means I get to wear my favourite boots, all year round; - just not accompanied with an umbrella, a winter coat, sunglasses, and a bikini! Schizophrenic London, I still love you anyway.

HARNESSED

Wearing: Zana Bayne harness, Aquascutum shirt, Jaeger trousers, Ann Demeulemeester triple lace boots
Can you imagined how excited I was to receive this gift from Zana Bayne last week!? I had already ordered a much needed triple belt, after failing to fork out £600 for the Ann D corset of a lifetime on eBay (cry), so when I lifted out the belt to find this beauty hiding below, I could have somersaulted on the spot. I think Zana has the super power of knowing exactly which harness will fulfil a girls dreams.

INSIDE OUT

Wearing: Limi Feu coat, Ann Demeulemeester shirt and triple lace boots.
I picked up this shirt a few seasons ago at the Antwerp stock sales, it's one of the stranger items I own; the buttons are inside out, although the seams are on the inside, and the cotton has been treated with oil so that I smell like a mechanic when I wear it. I don't think it ever went into production, but I love that Ann always experiments.

COSYING UP FOR WINTER

Wearing: Ann-Sofie Back coat, COS shirt, Complex Geometries skirt, Ann Demeulemeester boots, Limited Ed. Maxfactor lipstick in Burnt Caramel
Another find whilst in Antwerp was this Ann-Sofie Back coat from the RA concept store. I'd never been there before but it was totally incredible; stocking designers like Damir Doma, Rodarte, Louise Goldin and Gareth Pugh, it was a treasure trove of designer goodies! They have an online shop too which sells mostly at full price but there are still some bargains to be found. I went out to Antwerp thinking it was going to be sunny and warm, in reality it was wet and cold so it's no surprising I left with lots of coats! So happy with this find, a perfect minimal coat for winter that's so oversized I feel like I'm wrapped in a blanket.
